Past Events

The musical event of “Vindaneeya Geetha Suyamaya” took place on 9th of February 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM arranged by the University Arts Council for the new students of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies for the 2023/2024 academic year. This program occurred over a span of roughly two hours, simultaneously with the orientation for new undergraduates.

In addition to offering them entertainment with distinct songs from Sri Lankan musical culture, selected classical pieces and drama (Nritya) songs were also employed as a foundation for appreciation. This event was presented to them through music and instrumental acts. This enjoyable musical evening featured distinctive aspects of Sri Lankan musical artistry combined with carefully chosen simple tunes and dramatic songs.
