The "Gee Suwanda" musical Program, organized by the University Arts Council, was held on 13th of March 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM for the new coming students of the Faculty of Science's 2023/2024 academic year.

The musical event of “Vindaneeya Geetha Suyamaya” took place on 9th of February 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM arranged by the University Arts Council for the new students of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies for the 2023/2024 academic year. 

Drushya Prabha - 2025

The fourth part of the "Drushya Prabha - 2025" practical workshop on traditional painting organized by the Arts Council of the University of Kelaniya was conducted as a field workshop as the "Sapugaskanda Purana Rajamaha Viharaya" on 18 th of November 2025 from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm.

University of Kelaniya Launches “Rava Pratibha 2024” 

The official launch of Rava Pratibha 2024, organized by the Arts Council of the University of Kelaniya, was held on 11th September 2025 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Social Sciences, in celebration of National Literacy Month.

"CONFUCIUS", the latest play by the Emeritus Professor Sunanda Mahendra, was performed on 27th August 2025 at 6.00 PM at the Sri Dharmaloka Hall, University of Kelaniya.

The Arts Council of University of Kelaniya is published by the "Rava Prathibha 2024" launching ceremony of  will be held on 11th September 2025 at 2.00 pm at the Auditorium, Faculty of Social Sciences. 

Drushya Prabha - 2025

The third part of the "Drushya Prabha - 2025" practical workshop on traditional painting organized by the Arts Council of the University of Kelaniya was conducted as a field workshop as the "Gampaha Pilikuththuwa Purana Rajamaha Viharaya" on 26th and 27th of July 2025 from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm.

The 2025 Announcement Training Workshop, held in collaboration with the Arts Council of the University of Kelaniya and the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation, was held at the Sri Lanka broadcasting Corporation from 14th to 18th July 2025.
