Past Events

The "Gee Suwanda" musical Program, organized by the University Arts Council, was held on 13th of March 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM for the new coming students of the Faculty of Science's 2023/2024 academic year.

Conducted alongside the new students' orientation program, this event took place over a duration of approximately two hours. To provide both entertainment and a rich aesthetic experience, the concert featured a curated selection of classical and theatrical (Nurthi) songs.

Through live vocal and instrumental performances, the "Gee Suwanda" concert showcased these unique and defining elements of Sri Lankan musical history.
