The launch of "Rawa Prathibha 2025," compiled by the Arts Council of the University of Kelaniya, was held on August 14th  at 11:30 AM at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Kelaniya.

The ceremony was presided over by Senior Professor Nilanthi de Silva, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya. The event was attended by Professor Chaminda Abeysinghe (Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences), Senior Professor Patrick Rathnayake (Dean, Faculty of Humanities),  Profesor Uda Hettige Chairman, Arts Council the editorial board comprising senior lecturers, and Heads of Departments representing both faculties.

The book was compiled to identify and encourage the artistic talents of undergraduates and to provide a platform to share their creative works with a broader audience. "Rawa Prathibha 2025" consists of approximately 325 pages, featuring 131 creative works including rhymed poetry, free verse, and short stories selected and evaluated by an expert panel from submissions across all faculties of the university. 

Retired Professor Darshana Rathnayake delivered a special keynote address on the theme "Creation, Appreciation, and Criticism." A memento was also presented to Professor Darshana Rathnayake for composing the lyrics to the Kelaniya university song.

This creative anthology is an annual publication brought out by the Arts Council.
